Super League Round 27 match official appointments including Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC and Leigh v Wakefield

The referee appointments are in for the final round of the regular season, with the key game this week being Leigh Leopards v Wakefield Trinity.

That game will ultimately decide who gets home advantage in the first round of the play-offs, with Trinity in pole position for that fourth-place spot heading into it.

Leigh need to defeat Wakefield by 28 points or more in order to claim a home play-off, something that seems unlikely given how well-matched both teams are.

Wakefield could even scrape third place, should they win and Warrington lose to Toulouse. Both of those games will take place on ‘Frantic Friday’, alongside Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC and St Helens v Hull KR.

Wigan Warriors v Catalans Dragons is the fifth and final game of the night, with the Warriors needing to avoid defeat to their French opposition to claim the League Leaders’ Shield.

Huddersfield Giants will round out the weekend, as they play their final game at the Accu Stadium before they move to Dewsbury’s FLAIR Stadium for 2027. They take on a Castleford Tigers side led by Luke Robinson, the man who began the season as Huddersfield boss.
