The referees have been confirmed for Round 24 of Super League, with the big game this week seeing Wigan Warriors host Wakefield Trinity.
This game would have been even bigger than it already is had Wakefield come into this one with two wins under their belt. Instead, Trinity arrive at the Brick Community stadium out of form, having lost to both Leeds and St Helens in the past two weeks.
Just down the road to Wigan on Friday, Leigh Leopards will host Bradford Bulls in a Las Vegas dress rehearsal. Both sides will face off in the Sin City next year, but more pressing matters for the Bulls include them wanting to avoid the wooden spoon, which is a real possibility given they sit 14th on points difference, level with Hull FC and Huddersfield Giants.
On Saturday, St Helens host Castleford Tigers. The Red Vee will be looking for revenge after an upset Tigers win earlier in the season. Hull KR welcome Toulouse Olympique to Craven Park later in the day, before Catalans Dragons and Hull FC face off in Perpignan.
There are two games on Sunday, with Leeds Rhinos taking on York Knights in what is set to be a sell-out, whilst Warrington Wolves host Huddersfield Giants in a game that looks set to be a far more enjoyable watch than their reverse fixture back in early May.
