The Super League referee appointments have been confirmed for Round 19, and it looks set to be a pivotal week given the closeness at both ends of the league table.
St Helens’ horrific display against Toulouse saw them drop out of the top six for the first time this season, and they are now at risk of missing the finals for the first time in Super League history.
Toulouse’s win meant that all three promoted sides claimed victories at the weekend, though that can’t happen this week given that the French side take on York Knights in a repeat of last year’s Championship Grand Final.
The action starts on Thursday night at Odsal, where Bradford Bulls host Wakefield Trinity. Both sides picked up wins at the weekend, and that tie is set to be a thriller given the Bulls’ strong home record this season.
On Friday, bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield take on Wigan Warriors, whilst Saints will be looking for an immediate response when they take on an inconsistent Catalans side.
Warrington welcome Hull KR to the Halliwell Jones on Saturday, which is the first of a triple header, as Hull FC take on Leigh Leopards and Toulouse face York.
Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos culminate the action on Sunday. Leeds have won their last three trips to the Jungle, with their last visit seeing them rack up 64 points against their local rivals.
