Super League referees to surprisingly take charge of Championship play-off clashes

Chris Kendall denied Catalans Dragons a try against Warrington Wolves.

Super League referees are set to participate in officiating Championship play-off games this weekend – with video referees also present.

James Child and Chris Kendall will referee Batley Bulldogs versus Bradford Bulls and Halifax Panthers versus Whitehaven RLFC respectively, whilst Marcus Griffiths will be the video referee at Batley and Tom Grant the video referee at Halifax.
