Super League refereeing appointments as decisions made on Ben Thaler, James Child and Robert Hicks

We are all geared up for another weekend of Super League as the league returns after a Challenge Cup hiatus.

Warrington Wolves will host Leeds Rhinos on Friday night with Catalans Dragons and Huddersfield Giants doing battle at the Stade Gilbert Brutus on the same night.

Castleford Tigers will then go head to head with Wigan Warriors live on Channel 4 as Toulouse Olympique take on St Helens on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday then sees Hull KR host Salford Red Devils with Wakefield Trinity going up against Hull FC.

But, who will referee this weekend’s games?

Interestingly, Robert Hicks has not been named whatsoever on any Super League games and neither has Ben Thaler, though Thaler will officiate Barrow Raiders’ Championship fixture against Leigh Centurions and Hicks will be in the middle for Leigh’s game against Halifax Panthers.

Meanwhile, James Child will officiate Castleford’s game against Wigan after refereeing Wigan’s win over Huddersfield in the Challenge Cup Final.
