Super League referee appointments sees Chris Kendall takes two fixtures

Super League Referee Chris Kendall at Wembley

The RFL has confirmed its referee appointments for the upcoming round of Super League action with Chris Kendall set for a busy few days.

Kendall will take charge of Wigan Warriors’ home clash with Leigh Leopards on Tuesday night, a game that was originally scheduled to be played back in February but was postponed due to the Warriors’ World Club Challenge commitments. It’s a local derby, of course, but it’s a big game in terms of the Super League table, too, with Wigan looking to return to the Super League summit, while Leigh chase a play-off spot.

Kendall will be the man in the middle on Thursday night, too, with St Helens hosting Salford Red Devils at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Young official Liam Rush will take charge of Hull KR’s home game against Castleford Tigers at Craven Park, while Tom Grant will officiate Huddersfield Giants’ clash with Catalans Dragons at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Liam Moore gets arguably the biggest match of round 21 as Leeds Rhinos play host to Wigan, who will be in action once more four days after their game with Leigh.

Jack Smith and Marcus Griffiths will referee Leigh Leopards v Hull FC and London Broncos v Warrington Wolves respectively.
