Magic Weekend returns to Super League on Saturday and Sunday with all 12 teams competing at a new venue in Elland Road and the referee appointments for the fixtures have been confirmed.
Elland Road becomes the sixth different venue of the showpiece event after Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle, but the event in Leeds is expected to be close to a sell-out.
The later date in the calendar means that the results and repercussions from every game are magnified and making matters more interesting, all top eight teams play one another.
That actually sets up one of the most intriguing games of the weekend as the opener between 11th-placed Hull FC and 12th-placed London Broncos. The Broncos will draw level on points with the Black and Whites with a win, something that would only spark further arguments that London has been unfairly treated by IMG.
The other games on Saturday include Wigan Warriors taking on St Helens before hometown favourites Leeds Rhinos face Warrington Wolves.
Sunday’s games see Leigh Leopards take on Salford Red Devils, league leaders Hull KR face Catalans before Castleford Tigers and Huddersfield Giants round the weekend off.
The referee appointments have now been confirmed.

Liam Rush will take charge of the bottom-of-the-table clash between Hull and London before Jack Smith takes the derby between Wigan and St Helens. That leaves Chris Kendall with Saturday’s showpiece game to round off the evening as Leeds take on Warrington Wolves.
Sunday kicks off with Liam Moore officiating Leigh versus Salford, Tom Grant takes charge of Catalans and Hull KR before Aaron Moore concludes the weekend when he takes charge of Huddersfield and Castleford.
As has been the case in Super League in 2024, all games will have a video referee and they’re listed below for each game.
