Super League referee appointments as official for Hull KR v Wigan Warriors confirmed

The referee appointments for Round Seven of Super League have been confirmed by the RFL with Jack Smith taking charge of the standout game.

After a week away from Super League for the Challenge Cup, we’re now thrust back into the action with six more games including one of the biggest of the season so far.

That comes on Friday night at Craven Park as Hull KR face Wigan Warriors in a repeat of last year’s Grand Final and a battle between first and third.

Who is in charge of this week’s Super League games?

Hull KR will be hoping to maintain their 100% record going and stretch their lead atop Super League and it’s now been confirmed that the referee for that game will be Jack Smith, with Liam Rush on the video referee duties.

Friday night’s other game sees Tom Grant take charge of St Helens and Wakefield Trinity with Aaron Moore on video referee duties, with Moore then taking charge of Warrington versus Hull FC on Saturday evening. He will be supported that night by Jack Smith.

The opening game of Round Seven between Salford and Leeds will be overseen by Liam Rush with Liam Moore serving as video referee, with Moore officiating the final game of the weekend when Huddersfield host Catalans Dragons.

Chris Kendall takes charge of Saturday’s late kick-off between Castleford Tigers and Leigh Leopards with Ben Thaler in support on video referee duties after the pair worked together for the Hull derby on Saturday.
