The referee appointments for Round Four of Super League have been confirmed with Jack Smith taking the game of the week.
Of the six matches in Round Four there is one clear standout as first takes on second in Super League with St Helens hosting Hull KR, two of the three unbeaten teams in the competition.
It’s been confirmed that Jack Smith will take charge of that game with Marcus Griffiths serving as the video referee at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday night.
Friday’s other game sees Chris Kendall take charge after jetting back from Las Vegas where he officiated the match between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves.
Whilst the teams don’t have to play until Sunday, there’s no rest for the wicked as Chris Kendall takes charge of an interesting tie between Castleford Tigers and Salford Red Devils at the foot of Super League.
Thursday’s match sees Tom Grant supported by Jack Smith when Hull FC host Super League’s only other undefeated team, the Leigh Leopards.
Aaron Moore makes the trip to Perpignan to officiate Catalans versus Leeds Rhinos whilst Marcus Griffiths and Liam Moore will be in action on Sunday, taking charge of Warrington versus Wakefield and Wigan versus Huddersfield respectively.
So far in Super League, referees have generally kept their cards in their pockets with games flowing a lot more although Round Three did see four sin bins.

Kendall should be refereeing under 9s games, not Super League.
