Super League Quiz: Can you name every team relegated since 1996?

This Super League quiz will test your knowledge to see if you can name every relegated team from the competition since 1996.

Promotion and relegation is the talk of the sport at the moment, with IMG’s introduction seeing the concept scrapped.

Teams are still able to move between divisions, however, it will now be based off the grading criteria implemented by IMG. The 12 teams with the highest grades will make up Super League going forward.

For those teams that are in Super League in 2024 whose grade isn’t ranked inside the top 12 in the country, such as the London Broncos, will be moved down a division under the criteria. This will happen even if London avoid finishing bottom in Super League.

However, for the most part in the history of Super League, promotion and relegation has been in existence. Barring the period between 2009 and 2014, when a similar concept to the current IMG one called licensing was active in the game, a team has been relegated in every season of Super League.
