The Super League Player of the Month nominees for April have been revealed, with Hull KR taking up two of the six spots.
A total of five clubs are represented, including Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves.
Rhinos winger Maika Sivo has won the award back-to-back, doing so in both February and March, however he won’t be able to defend his crown after missing out on the shortlist.
Interestingly, Leigh prop Joe Ofahengaue becomes only the second forward to be nominated for the award this season. John Asiata featured in last month’s shortlist, but he was unable to come away with the vote.

Super League Player of the Month nominees – April 2026
Mikey Lewis (Hull KR)
Starting with the man who has the most try contributions in the league to date, KR half-back Lewis has racked up 10 tries and eight assists in his opening nine league games.
Ten of those have come within the last month, with his best tally coming against Bradford Bulls where he scored four tries and bagged an assist.
The England international is one of many reasons why the Robins are currently in top form, and they will hope to extend their five-game unbeaten streak in the league to six when they face Leigh Leopards in round 11.
Tyrone May (Hull KR)
Lewis’ half-back partner, May, has also been nominated, and it’s not a stretch to say that the former Catalans man has been the best player in the competition in recent weeks.
The 29-year old is currently second in the league for try assists, and in April he totalled seven, including four in that win over Bradford.
Brodie Croft (Leeds Rhinos)
The Leeds star is only behind Maika Sivo in the competition’s try scoring charts, with his running threat posing problems at every opportunity for opposition teams.
Croft, as well as May, were both named in the initial shortlist for the Man of Steel award, highlighting how they have been in incredible form for the season as a whole, not just in the month gone by.
The former Salford man has scored or assisted in every game this season, with his season best coming against Huddersfield Giants where he dotted down four times.
Tristan Sailor (St Helens)
Super League’s top metre maker, Sailor has delivered exceptionally at full-back in the absence of Jack Welsby.
The former Brisbane man is clearly better utilised in the number one role, but with Welsby back fit, Paul Rowley has a decision to make as he looks to get the best out of both players.
Josh Thewlis (Warrington Wolves)
The Wire speedster has been excellent wherever he has played, having featured both on the wing and at full-back in the last month.
Cai Taylor-Wray’s injury meant he had to switch positions, but Thewlis has been a constant threat with ball in hand, and his efforts in the Primrose and Blue earned him a new long-term contract earlier this season.
Joe Ofahengaue (Leigh Leopards)
Props often don’t get the recognition they deserve, but the Leigh enforcer has been in fine form over the past few weeks, and after returning from injury has been so important to the Leopards’ upturn in form.
Scoring the match-winning try against Catalans last time out, ‘Joffa’ has accumulated over 100 metres in his past three games, and with increased carries and tackles he has been a workhorse in the middle of the park for Adrian Lam’s side.
