
The opening fixtures of the 2022 Betfred Super League season have been confirmed with Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos set for another blockbuster start to a campaign.
The two have teed off in season openers in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2022 all of which have been classic encounters.
Elsewhere in Round One Leigh Leopards’ return to Super League comes against the Salford Red Devils live on Sky Sports whilst the first Channel 4 game sees Hull KR and Wigan Warriors collide.
Hull FC host Castleford Tigers whilst Wakefield Trinity and Catalans Dragons meet.
Huddersfield Giants and St Helens are set to meet in a Round One fixture but the date of this game is unclear due to St Helens’ potential involvement in the World Club Challenge.
In round two it’s family affairs as Leeds Rhinos boss Rohan Smith takes on his uncle Tony’s side Hull FC at Headingley.
In the other Sky game Salford meet Hull KR whilst on Channel 4 Champions St Helens start their season with a trip to Castleford Tigers.
