The Super League Man of Steel odds have been revealed with stars from Wigan Warriors, St Helens and Hull KR leading the betting.
Being crowned Super League Man of Steel is the highest individual accolade of the Super League season and it’s a feat that is notoriously hard to achieve.
Legendary players such as Kevin Sinfield and Danny McGuire never once won it whilst just a handful of players have claimed the title twice including Sam Tomkins and Paul Sculthorpe, the latter being the only man to defend his crown.
The 2024 winner Mikey Lewis is priced up at 12/1 to defend his crown making the Hull KR star the joint-third favourite in the betting behind 2023 winner Bevan French (8/1) and St Helens’ latest star signing Tristan Sailor (10/1).
Warrington Wolves’ Matty Ashton, who was among the competition’s top try scorers in 2024, is also priced at 12/1 alongside Lewis.
Super League sponsors Betfred have priced up the market and we’ve picked out some of the biggest names in the market to see who the bookmakers are touting to be crowned Man of Steel in 2205.

Other star players to feature prominently in the Super League Man of Steel betting include Jack Welsby (14/1), with Warrington duo George Williams and Matt Dufty both 16/1.
NRL recruit Tom Burgess is 18/1 to become the first prop to win the award since James Graham in 2008 with Hull FC’s Herman Ese’ese priced up the same.
Leeds stars Brodie Croft and Jake Connor are 20/1 and 25/1 respectively whilst Leigh fan favourite Edwin Ipape and last year’s finalist Marc Sneyd are also 25/1.
Super League Young Player of the Year Junior Nsemba is 25/1 to go one better and be crowned Man of Steel whilst former St Helens player Lewis Dodd is priced up the same, despite leaving to sign for South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL.
