Super League Man of Steel odds released for 2021 season

Bevan French and Aidan Sezer are joint favourites to be Super League’s next Man of Steel after Sporting Index released odds on the prestigious award for the 2021 campaign.

Both players were in the running for this season’s Man of Steel trophy but were pipped at the post by Castleford’s Paul McShane.

Sporting index have priced the pair at 8/1 to claim Super League’s top individual award, with Jackson Hastings and Lachlan Coote next in the running at 12/1.

Jonny Lomax and Blake Austin are backed at 14/1, as are new NRL recruits Jai Field and Josh Reynolds who have signed for Wigan and Hull FC respectively.

John Bateman is priced at 16/1 to return to Super League in style, with reigning champion McShane also at 16/1 to win the award for the second year running.

There are also a number of interesting outsiders including Warrington’s new signing Greg Inglis who is valued at 25/1 by Sporting Index.
