After Round 18 of Super League has come to a close, there are a number of fresh injury concerns for teams to come to terms with.
It was an incredibly eventful week of Super League action, with things now looking tighter than ever at the top.
On Friday night, Warrington Wolves defeated St Helens 24-10 despite a red card, while Huddersfield Giants surprised many with a 16-8 victory over Salford Red Devils and Leigh Leopards looked comfortable as they ran out 35-6 winners against London Broncos.
On Saturday, Hull FC then took the result of the round, with a 24-22 victory over table-topping Wigan Warriors, before Brad Arthur’s first Super League game saw his Leeds Rhinos side defeated 12-20 to Hull KR.
Finally, on Sunday, Castleford Tigers made it three wins in a row with a 24-18 victory over Catalans Dragons.
However, as well as exhilarating action, there were injury blows for several sides.

For Hull FC, Simon Grix confirmed a duo of injury concerns post-match that Logan Moy picked up a shoulder injury, while Brad Fash had a minor neck issue – Grix said post-game: “We lost Fash before the game.
“He hurt his neck and couldn’t move his head very well.”
Elswehere, Warrington Wolves moved to second in the Super League table but saw Stefan Ratchford fail an HIA, and it has been confirmed that he has suffered a facial fracture.
Sam Burgess said: He’ll have surgery and it doesn’t look great. He’ll go for surgery on his face as it looks pretty bad.”
It therefore seems that the Wolves wll be without him for a significant period of time.
For Catalans Dragons, Paul Seguier survived a scare, but Tom Johnstone, already with a heavily-strapped knee at the start of the game, went down injured for a lengthy period of time at the end of the first half in their loss to Castleford Tigers.
He had to be helped off the field, and we’re yet to see what the extent of that injury is – but it seems like he may be sidelined for much of the rest of his Catalans Dragons career.

Castleford Tigers, meanwhile, have an injury to Liam Watts to contend with.
Head coach Craig Lingard said after the game: “Wattsy got twisted with his knee. He tried to start the second half and get through that but you could tell quite clearly early in that second half that he wasn’t right.
“We’ll assess him tomorrow and see how he is but I think everybody else, touch wood, is okay but you can never tell straight after a game. For now though, I think we’re alright.”
James McDonnell was forced off early in Leeds Rhinos’ defeat to Hull KR with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Cam Smith struggled with ‘cramps’ according to head coach Brad Arthur.
Finally, Leigh Leopards saw Matt Davis ruled out of their next game due to a failed HIA, but Tom Amone, who received a cut to the head at the weekend, is expected to be in contention when they face St Helens.
