Round 21 of Super League concluded on Sunday and teams will now prepare for Magic Weekend at Elland Road, however, there are several injury blows that have been dealt.
Whilst the action from Round 21 started on Thursday, there was a rare Tuesday night Super League game and that saw one of the more significant injury issues from the week.
Wigan Warriors and Leigh Leopards finally faced off after their postponed Round 2 game with Wigan getting the better of Leigh as they won 28-6 to return to the top of Super League.
Thursday’s action saw St Helens beat Salford Red Devils 17-16 thanks to a Moses Mbye drop goal in golden point and 24 hours fans were treated to more drop goal drama.
Catalans Dragons edged Huddersfield Giants 23-22 thanks to an Arthur Mourgue one-pointer late on but the bigger story on Friday was at Craven Park as Hull KR went top of Super League after their 36-6 win over Castleford.
It would have been a short-lived reign in top spot if Wigan could avoid defeat against Leeds Rhinos but the Headingley side put in a season-best performance to win 30-4, with fatigue and ill-discipline getting the better of Matt Peet’s side.
That left two games on Sunday with Super League strugglers Hull FC and London Broncos both suffering another defeat ahead of their clash at Magic Weekend. Leigh beat FC 42-12 whilst Warrington saw off a spirited London by a scoreline of 34-22.
Super League will now descend on Leeds as Magic Weekend takes place at Elland Road but some big names could be missing through injury.

Super League Injury News
Tuesday’s game saw Leigh’s Matt Moylan leave the field due to a rib injury with Adrian Lam conceding that it was a gamble that backfired after playing the Australian who had been ’50/50′.
They didn’t suffer any more injury issues on Sunday though but opponents Hull FC appeared to lose forward Yusuf Aydin to a HIA with the prop not returning after a collision with Owen Trout.
Another confirmed to fail a HIA was Huddersfield’s Aidan McGowan who left before halftime in their loss to Catalans Dragons. Another man who left the field early in that game was Sam Tomkins with the 35-year-old suffering a hamstring injury.
Sky Sports’ Rod Studd appeared to suggest that Tomkins’ season and possibly career could be over as he claimed that it was time for the full-back to ‘get back to the day job at Sky’, however, it’s believed the injury isn’t as severe as that.
One such injury that could be severe is to Lewis Dodd who suffered a blow to his arm in the Saints’ narrow win which could create a selection issue for Paul Wellens given Jack Welsby’s injury and Jonny Lomax’s suspension.
Leeds Rhinos fans were worried when they saw winger David Fusitu’a leave the field but Brad Arthur confirmed that the former New Zealand Warriors man was simply cramping up.
