Super League Grand Final line-ups: Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves confirm Old Trafford line-ups

The teams are in for today’s Super League Grand Final, with Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves selecting their 17-man squads.

Daryl Powell’s side travelled to Wigan Warriors and took victory when not many gave them a chance, and even those that did predict the manner in they would win.

Emerging as 33-6 victors, the West Yorkshire outfit will need to produce something similar this week, but even Powell himself has conceded that it will be almost impossible to replicate a 95% completion rate.

Trinity have opted to remain unchanged. Jack Sinfield, whose father Sir Kevin Sinfield will deliver the match ball, starts in the halves alongside Jake Trueman with Mason Lino again coming off the bench.

The powerful bench duo of Caleb Hamlin-Uele and Caius Faatili will need to be at their most dominant when they enter the fray. They will replace starters Ky Rodwell and Mike McMeeken.

Max Jowitt will play his final Wakefield game before heading to York, whilst this is the last match of Jay Pitts’ illustrious career. He hopes to go out with the ultimate glory of a Grand Final winners ring.

Opponents Warrington have also kept the same line-up. George Williams is expected to be today’s game-changer, but halves partner Ewan Irwin will also add class from the spine. Josh Thewlis and Danny Walker make up the rest of the pivots, with Ben Currie locking the pack at 13.

James Harrison and Liam Byrne start the game in the front row, with Sam Powell, Joe Philbin, Luke Yates and Kelepi Tanginoa expected to add impact off the bench.
