Super League have revealed the results of the latest round of Covid-19 testing from this week’s Grand Finalists Wigan and St Helens.
There has been one positive result from a total of 95 tests taken, with the player in question currently in rehab.
As a result, this week’s Grand Final will go ahead as planned, as has been the case with games throughout the play-offs.
A statement said: “The RFL and Betfred Super League thank the players and officials of all clubs who have followed testing protocols for the last four months; all the other support staff who have been involved in the process; and also the staff from Screen4 who were selected as the preferred testing partner for Betfred Super League clubs.”
