This weekend we see the Challenge Cup quarter-finals and holders Wigan Warriors’ road to Wembley is tough.
After coming from 14-0 down to defeat Leeds Rhinos at Headingley, the cup holders now face another monumental task in the shape of a resurgent Warrington Wolves. Wigan have already beaten the Super League leaders once this season, but must do so again after the Wolves once more showed their class of β23 in winning 14-16 against Catalans Dragons in Perpignan.
It has been 15 years since neither of these sides failed to make it to the semi-finals and that run will definitely continue with the two clashing on Sunday.
The team news is now in.
Matt Peet has made one change to his 21-player squad as Sam Powell is replaced by Ethan Havard, who comes back into contention after recovering from an elbow injury sustained in Wiganβs Challenge Cup victory at Leeds Rhinos last month.

As for Warrington and Daryl Powell, he has also named a strong squad.
There is still of course no Joe Philbin or Josh McGuire with the latter’s future up in the air.
Daryl Clark features however after splitting his head open last week.
