Super League fixture moved to new date and time

The Betfred Super League Round 25 clash between Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils will now take place on Friday 8th September, with an 7:45pm kick-off time.

This is instead of the previously scheduled 3pm kick-off on Sunday, September 10th.

The game takes place at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Paul Rowley and Daryl Powell will go head-to-head in what could possibly be a season-defining fixture, with both sides in the hunt for a top six position.

In Round 3, despite an outstanding first-half performance from the Red Devils, the Wire came from behind to beat Salford at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Both sides currently occupy the top six and many expect them to make the play-offs.

Both sides are also in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals next week.

Warrington Wolves travel over Wigan Warriors whilst Salford will be looking to recapture the performance against Hull KR at the Magic Weekend and defeat them again in the Challenge Cup.

This week Warrington host Huddersfield Giants hoping to snap their two game losing run.

Salford meanwhile take on 11th placed Castleford Tigers.
