Super League fans say the same thing about bold new Leigh Leopards kit

Leigh Leopards, looking ahead to their third season with their new name, have revealed their home kit for 2025.

It is, once again, a leopard-print shirt, this time with plenty of white, unlike the red and black of 2024.

This one is manufactured by their new partner, Reebok – who are one of the top ten sports brands in the world, and have taken over from Patrick.

The shirt reveal doesn’t include sponsor logos, but they will certainly look to confirm those as we head towards the new campaign.

A number of people, reacting to the shirt announcement, praised the club’s ability to get Reebok involved with the sport.

Ryan Whittaker said: “Horrible shirt but getting Reebok into the sport with kit making can only help with the advisement as RFL, IMG and Sky Sports ain’t doing it. Great work getting them involved but not so great on the design.”

Steve Roscoe added: “Great that they’ve got a major sports brand involved, but the shirt looks like it’s filled with those horrible rock hard cherry lips sweets.”

Even they couldn’t get away from bashing the shirt design, and others likened it to a number of things.

Martin Collier said: “Do you hold it up to your nose then move it slowly away to reveal a 3D image of Derek Beaumont?”, while Eugene Ryan suggested: “Looks like one of them colour blind tests but with no hidden number.”

Meanwhile, on Twitter, people went even further.

@TomVideoPlus: “Well that’s utterly horrendous. As expected.”

Even so, at the time of writing, the Twitter post revealing the shirt has had almost 80,000 views – and, as the saying goes: any publicity is good publicity.
