Chris Hill will miss Warrington’s Challenge Cup quarter-final against Wigan on Saturday after been found guilty of Grade B striking with the shoulder.

The Wolves captain has been given a one-match ban and fined £300 for the offence he committed against Castleford on Sunday.

Hill’s team-mate Joe Westerman has been cleared for this weekend after he used his early guilty plea to escape suspension for a Grade A dangerous contact charge.

Elsewhere, Leeds Rhinos forward Jamie Jones-Buchanan will miss Friday’s Challenge Cup match against Featherstone after he was handed a one-match ban for dangerous contact.

Leigh Centurions’ prop Jamie Acton has been banned for one match after he was found guilty of Grade B tripping during Thursday’s clash against Wigan.

Widnes half-back Rangi Chase was found guilty of Grade A tripping during Friday’s game against St Helens but escaped a ban, receiving a £300 fine.

St Helens prop Luke Douglas submitted an early guilty for dangerous contact which clears him to face Huddersfield on Friday night at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Catalans prop Sam Moa was charged for Grade B striking with the shoulder and the incident is currently being heard, with the outcome to be revealed shortly.
