With Monday rolling around again, it’s time for teams to learn which Super League disciplinary decisions have been made by the RFL.

Last week, three players were slapped with bans, with James Batchelor of Hull KR and John Asiata of Leigh Leopards both given one-match bans.

St Helens winger Tommy Makinson, meanwhile, was originally given a three-match ban, which was downgraded to two on appeal, meaning he’ll get a farewell in front of the home fans before leaving to Catalans Dragons.

This week, the action started on Friday night as Leigh Leopards beat Warrington Wolves to move themselves into the play-off spots.

Here, a controversial red card for Paul Vaughan was key, and was looked at by the Match Review Panel.

Meanwhile, Hull KR kept the pace at the top of the table with a 32-12 victory over Salford Red Devils.

On Saturday, Castleford Tigers defeated Hull FC 39-20 before Wigan Warriors beat Catalans Dragons in Perpignan, meaning the French side dropped out the playoff spots after a terrible run of form.

On Sunday, London Broncos and Leeds Rhinos were again only split by golden point extra-time, as Brodie Croft kicked the winning drop goal in London Broncos’ final game of the season at Plough Lane.

Finally, on BBC Two, St Helens beat 12-man Huddersfield Giants, after a red card for the Giants’ Fenton Rogers just before half time.

It has been a busy one for the Match Review Panel, with bans handed out for a total of six players.

Liam Horne of Castleford Tigers and Sam Hewitt of Huddersfield Giants were both handed one-match bans for Grade B Dangerous Contact.

Meanwhile, Horne’s teammate Sylvester Namo was also banned after a sin-bin, getting a two-match penalty notice for Grade C Dangerous Contact (higher end).

Fenton Rogers’ season is over, however: he was handed two separate bans: one-match for Grade B Dangerous Contact and three further matches for Grade D Head Contact.

In addition, Warrington’s Paul Vaughan has been banned for three matches for Grade D Head Contact, meaning he can’t return until the play-offs, unless they are successful with an appeal.
