The 2023 Super League Rivals Round has been confirmed tonight.
Described as the biggest Rivals Round in Super League history starting on Thursday 6th April and concluding on Sunday April 9th and every game is shown live on Sky Sports.
This is a new dawn for the Easter weekend in Super League with the end of the double headers which saw clubs play on Thursday or Friday night prior to Easter Monday.
Instead the games will begin on Thursday night and conclude on Easter Sunday.
It starts on Sky Sports with Castleford Tigers hosting Wakefield Trinity on Thursday night.
Then on Good Friday Hull FC and Hull KR of course meet which will be Tony Smith’s first Hull derby in the black and whites after leaving Craven Park and taking the job at the MKM Stadium.
That game kicks off at 12:30 and precedes the battle between Wigan Warriors and St Helens in the other traditional Good Friday derby.
Then a first for Super League, with Leigh Leopards and Salford Red Devils meeting on the Saturday after Good Friday in a double header with Catalans Dragons hosting Warrington Wolves later that day.
The weekend concludes on Easter Sunday as Leeds Rhinos host Huddersfield Giants at Headingley after the two have served up some classic encounters recently.
As aforementioned, all six games are set to be shown live on Sky Sports as Super League takes a new approach with the Easter Weekend.
