Super League confirm rounds 16 and 18 broadcast picks as Leigh Leopards fixture sees kick-off change

The Sky Sports broadcast picks for rounds 16 and 18 have been confirmed, with Hull KR being selected as a main tie in both weekends.

As we get near to round 15, which is when the original Sky broadcast picks were done up to at the start of the season, plans have now been put in place for the weekends after that.

Rounds 16 and 18 place either side of Magic Weekend, where all games will be live on Sky’s main channels.

Round 16 takes place on June 25-28, and the Sky exclusive picks that weekend have been chosen as Warrington Wolves v Catalans Dragons and Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR.

Wire host Catalans on the Thursday night, and will be looking for a better display than the one they produced in the south of France earlier this season.

The following night, it is a Las Vegas rematch, with current table-toppers Leeds taking on Challenge Cup Finalists Hull KR.

That game is also Leeds’ annual MND awareness round, and the home side will be wearing a one-off kit for that fixture.

Whilst it is not a main Sky pick, the fixture between Toulouse Olympique and Leigh Leopards has changed kick-off times, with that game now kicking off at 6pm CET/5pm UK as opposed to the original time of 9pm CET/8pm UK.

Post-Magic, round 18’s main Sky picks have seen Warrington again selected, and this time they travel to Wigan Warriors in a mouth-watering encounter.

That game takes place on Friday night, with the second Sky pick coming on Saturday where Hull KR will take on Wakefield Trinity in what will be a crucial game in terms of the play-off race.

All other games will be live on Sky Sports+, as the majority have been for the opening half of the 2026 season.
