Super League confirm referee appointments

The Super League have confirmed the refereeing appointments for the First Round of the new season.

Chris Kendall will referee the opening fixture between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves at the DW Stadium.

Meanwhile, Liam Moore will referee the Grand Final rematch between St Helens and Salford Red Devils, while Robert Hicks takes charge of the non-televised match between Wakefield Trinity and Hull KR. Both matches will take place on Friday.

Scott Mikalauskas will head to the South of France to take on Catalans Dragons against Huddersfield Giants on Saturday.

Finally, James Child will manage the first match of the Headingley double-header as Toronto Wolfpack face Castleford Tigers.

The final game of that double-header, will see Ben Thaler take charge of Leeds Rhinos against Hull FC.
