Super League confirm 10 positive Covid-19 cases

Super League have confirmed 10 positive Covid-19 cases from five different clubs in the latest round of testing.

Wigan Warriors and Castleford Tigers had already disclosed three positive cases yesterday, while Wakefield Trinity confirmed another positive test, with eight having to stand down.

Despite this, their game against St Helens is still scheduled to go ahead.

Meanwhile, Hull FC, who came out of standby to replace Castleford Tigers, have also confirmed a positive test within their camp.

All eight players, as well as two non-playing members of staff are self-isolating.

The schedule confirmed yesterday will still be going ahead.

Thursday October 8:
Huddersfield Giants v Salford Red Devils (5.30pm)

Leeds Rhinos v Hull FC (745pm).

Friday October 9:
Wakefield Trinity v St Helens (530pm)

Catalans Dragons vs. Hull KR (6.15pm)

Warrington Wolves v Wigan Warriors (745pm)
