Wakefield Trinity are the Super League doing the most business in the transfer market as they try and lift themselves of the foot of the Super League table.
However, as they try and bring in new faces, there have been rumours that Warrington Wolves are interested in signing their star second row Kelepi Tanginoa.
This comes after the Wolves lost Thomas Mikaele to the Gold Coast Titans opening up a quota spot in their squad.
However, Wakefield boss Mark Applegarth has said the backrower won’t be going anywhere with the Trinity coach saying Tanginoa is one of the best players in Super League.
He said on BBC Radio Leeds: “Kelepi I can’t wait to get him on the field for Wakefield Trinity.
“I can’t control what people are saying but he’s definitely not a player we are looking to move on.
“I have an excellent relationship with him and when you have him fit and healthy Kelepi Tanginoa is one of the best players in Super League, especially in his position.
“He is not someone we are actively trying to move on at all.
“When you are in a tricky spot like we are people try to start stripping you of your assets and that is certainly Kelepi.”
Trinity take on Castleford Tigers on Thursday.
