Super League coach promising big “announcements” as club works to “finalise” deals

Hull KR have reportedly put in two bids for Salford Red Devils star Tyler Dupree and today coach Willie Peters had his say on the prop.

However, he was more focused on taking on Dupree this week and his teammates in the middle for Salford rather than signing him:

“Oh look so Friday to be honest we’ll have a we always have a middles waiting on Friday and we’ll focus more around individuals and their pack as a whole.

“Tyler’s one player in their pack. They’ve got some good players in that pack. They’ve got some good pack rowers. So it’s not so much about singling out Tyler, but no doubt he’s in form.

“He scored a nice try last week and he’ll be doing the same. We know what we’re going to expect from him in terms of the way he plays.

“They are an aggressive type pack. Again, I think they’re underrated for being that. We certainly, we respect their pack a lot.”

Peters also gave an update on new signings and contracts promising some big news next week:

“No, we should have some more within the next week. There’ll be some more announcements. They’re not 100% finalised for me to say it today, but yeah, there’ll be some announcements shortly.”
