Hull KR boss has confirmed today that Sam Wood, Ethan Ryan and Jimmy Keinhorst are set to leave the club at the end of the current season.

Meanwhile, the Robins are in the process of finalising the future of veterans Lachlan Coote, Shaun Kenny-Dowall and Kane Linnett.

But what about news faces in at the club?

Peters said they are looking at options both in the UK and down under which rings true with the Robins linked with former Wigan Warriors star and current Dolphins player Oliver Gildart and promising Bradford Bulls youngster AJ Wallace.

Peters said: “That’s ongoing as well, we’re looking at opportunities in England and then in the NRL as well.”

He also gave an update on the overall contract conversations he’s having at present: “I’ll have those conversations as openly and honestly as I can because at the end of the day they go home and they’ve got families, kids and they need to plan and organise as well like all of us.

“We’ve had some conversations with players and unfortunately they won’t all be here next year but we need to keep cleaning for our future as a club and keep strengthening where we need to strengthen, get depth in certain areas and get to where we need to go.

“That doesn’t mean the players that are let go aren’t good players or they’re not Super League level but it just means for 2024 they’re not part of our plans, but certainly they’ll be part of other teams’ plans.”
