Super League often sees a crackdown on disciplinary matters at the start of the season but which club have conceded the most penalties in 2026?
With the rise of the six again, penalties alone can’t distinguish which are the most ill-disciplined clubs but they certainly give a good indicator, whilst also pointing to the teams who are best-behaved as well.
One thing that is interesting is the fact that the teams who concede the most penalties are not necessarily those at the foot of the table, with the opposite also true as Toulouse Olympique and Huddersfield Giants, who sit 13th and 14th in Super League, have actually conceded the fewest penalties per game.
Both Warrington Wolves, who sit tied atop the table, and Hull KR, who sit fourth, have played a game less than every other club but their penalties per game still sees them rank as the least-penalised teams.
As for those who commit the most penalties, it’s Bradford Bulls with Wigan Warriors and Castleford Tigers tied for second with a total of 81, or an average of 6.75 per game.
The average across all 14 teams stands at just under 74 per team, with nine clubs having committed more than that highlighting just how impressive Toulouse’s record of only 61 penalties is.
