Canberra Raiders number one Caleb Aekins is apparently hunting a Super League contract, according to Leeds Live.
The 23-year-old played just 12 times for Penrith over the course of three seasons after debuting in 2018, but has registered seven appearances in the green of Canberra in 2021.
Though Aekins is young and hungry, it remains to be seen which side he would fit in at in Super League.
St Helens are losing Lachlan Coote to Hull KR, but head coach Kristian Woolf has already said that Jack Welsby will be his fullback in 2022.
