Wakefield Trinity enjoyed the huge boost of beating picking up their first win of the season last week at the expense of Leeds Rhinos.
Now they are set to boosted by 12 more players as they could all return.
Trinity were without 13 of their key men against the Rhinos and it is only Kelepi Tanginoa who won’t return against Hull KR next week.
“Well it gets that monkey off the back you know when you’ve been what we’re on now Round 15 is it and you’ve done that many games without a win it’s not a nice feeling,” Applegarth said.
“I’ve never had to deal with anything like that in my coaching career at whatever level so it just takes that off us and hopefully we can kick on now.
“We’ve got I think we count with 12 players that are due back you know for the whole KR game you know most of the other injuries should be there or thereabouts.

“So again it creates competition for places and some of the younger end of that squad have grown into it today. They’ve answered a few questions they probably had in their own head and hopefully we can kick on and start putting some pressure on them teams around us.”
Applegarth also spoke about finally getting the win:
“You know what, it’s a good job I brought Dave Fafita back, because he’s the only guy that did actually remember the words.
“He normally sings the winning song, so yeah, it’s one of them. I’m just really pleased for the group, and you know, there’s no point in getting that win and not kicking on now, is there? So, we’ll enjoy it tonight, we’ll be back at it next week, you know, freshen a few up that’s been playing busted. And then get all this attention turns to KR and just take it week by week as we’ve said all along.”
