Super League clash headed for amazing sell out

Round 18 of the Betfred Super League is almost upon us and we are set for huge games such as Leeds Rhinos taking on Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell in a huge play-off clash or Warrington Wolves vs Super League and World Champions St Helens but none are as big as the Hull derby between Hull KR and Hull FC.

The two meet on Sky Sports at Craven Park as Hull FC look to avenge their humiliation at the hands of the Robins over Easter.

Both sides desperately need a win in the play-off race. The Robins’ play-off hopes are more concrete than Hull FC’s at the moment but a defeat to Leigh Leopards last week and Hull FC’s recent uptick in form which started with a win over Wigan Warriors in May has given them hope.

Either way, there is clearly a great atmosphere at both Hull KR and Hull FC at the moment.

Hull KR are well in the play-off mix and look set to be even stronger in 2024 and Hull FC are renewed under Tony Smith.

The Robins are also looking ahead to a Challenge Cup semi-final as well as having strong Super League aspirations.

Hull KR fans were very quick to purchase tickets for their semi-final against Wigan Warriors.

According to the club, it is the fastest selling game they have ever seen and they are already asking the RFL for further allocations at Headingley as they hope for a repeat of the 2015 semi-final at the same venue.

They have now sold out their first allocation and now further tickets have been released and have sold over 5,000 tickets.

On top of this, the Robins have sold out all the home sections of Craven Park for the Hull derby next week.

The club have confirmed that the only seats left are restricted view seats.

Hull FC likely won’t be far behind with renewed optimism at the MKM Stadium.
