Super League Attendances: Leeds Rhinos, Wigan Warriors and St Helens post staggering numbers

Well, that’s another round of Super League fixtures done and dusted as teams head into a busy period of play.

The Super League fixtures are coming thick and fast for teams with another round of games on Sunday and Monday, but this week’s was kicked off with Leeds Rhinos hosting Huddersfield Giants on Wednesday night.

The Rhinos ended up just about overcoming their West Yorkshire rivals in an 18-14 victory – but it wasn’t without controversy as the topic of ‘play-acting’ once more came to the fore.

Move on to Thursday night and there were four games to contend with as Toulouse Olympique went down to French rivals Catalans Dragons in a hard-fought affair before Wakefield Trinity racked up yet another win with a fine performance against Hull KR.

Willie Poching’s men ran out 18-6 winners with winger Lewis Murphy scoring the pick of the bunch whilst Hull FC went down to Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell Stadium.

That 28-18 loss just about ended FC’s chances of making the top six with two games to go, though Castleford Tigers are very much in the mix after an incredible 19-18 away win over the Warrington Wolves.

Castleford were down 12-0 at half-time before mounting a second-half comeback to keep level with Salford in the race for the play-offs.

But, just how did the attendances look this week?
