Super League and NRL’s Las Vegas schedule sees two games added

Wigan Warriors Super League Warrington Wolves Las Vegas

Super League heads to Las Vegas for 2025 as part of the NRL’s season launch and it’s been confirmed that two more games have been added to the schedule.

Announced back in early July, Wigan Warriors will host Warrington Wolves as part of a day packed with four rugby league games including two NRL fixtures and an international game.

They’ve now been added to with a further two international games as USA will host Greece in a double-header on the Friday before Saturday’s four games.

That’s been confirmed by governing body International Rugby League, who announced the fixtures this morning. The USA men’s and women’s side will host Greece on February 28th.

The IRL announced: “USA are set to follow up their end-of-year tour to South Africa by hosting Greece in men’s and women’s internationals as part of the NRL’s Las Vegas rugby league festival.

“The nations will play a double header on Friday, February 28 before the quadruple header at Allegiant Stadium the following day featuring a Super League premiership match between Wigan and Warrington, two NRL matches – Raiders v Warriors and Panthers v Sharks – and a women’s international between England and Australia.”

International double-header added to Vegas schedule

A large number of tickets have already sold for Super League fans with Warrington Wolves twice selling out their section of Allegiant Stadium, but now those travelling fans have a further two games that they can take in.

It’s also hugely beneficial to both nations who are afforded the opportunity to play in front of a large crowd and help prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualification, which will be decided by the inaugural 2025 World Series.

USA coach Sean Rutgerson explained: “Competing against Greece presents a significant opportunity for our players to test their skills,”

“This fixture is crucial for offering valuable experiences and growth opportunities to our homegrown talent, challenging them beyond the domestic environment.

“Additionally, the fixture supports our strategic goal of developing and expanding our domestic player pool, ensuring our competitiveness on the international stage, and contributing to the overall health and strength of our domestic competitions.”

Rutgerson added: “We can’t wait to build on the Las Vegas event from last year. The support and excitement keep building.”
