Leeds Rhinos have revealed their 2025 ‘heritage’ shirt, which is a ‘remastered’ version of their 2018 World Club Challenge kit.
It’s a return to a hugely popular design that was only worn for that one game, and is a similar design to the home shirt, just with the colours yellow and blue reversed and the horizontal bar moved below the iconic club badge.
They will, however, be hoping that the shirt doesn’t bring back many repeats of the scoreline from that day, as they were deated 38-4 by Melbourne Storm, with Ryan Hall their only try-scorer.
He returns to the club this year, and is featured prominently in the promotional photos of the shirt.
It’s the third shirt released by Leeds Rhinos for next season, with the ‘back to black’ away kit not going down particularly well with fans, but the home and heritage shirts, both returns to a classic style, have largely been a hit with supporters.

Many fans were very pleased with the design with Team7hinos saying that it’s the best shirt the club have had in ‘ages’, while Josh Jackson added: “Massive fan of the remastered kits. 2005 and this for next season. Very well done.”
Peter Atkinson said: “Should never have changed from the original style, I like it, should sell well.”
However, Scott M noted: “Heritage…. 2018…….. jeez I must be a relic then….”
It seems to be a trend across sport that shirt releases need to be a ‘return’ to something from the past – and Scott may have a point that this is taking that slightly too far.
In addition, user cdc0113 joked: “I love to remember 38-4 losses!!! This shirt is the one for me!!!!”
Jules Waterfield was also not convinced, saying sarcastically: “Oxen design department have done well this year. Brought out a black T-shirt and 2 old kits. Top designers that lot.”
