Storm confirm Chambers exit

At the Melbourne Storm’s awards night last night, coach Craig Bellamy Bellamy announced the departure of long serving centre Will Chambers.

Speculation over the centre’s departure has been rampant recently when Chambers was dropped to the bench for Curtis Scott in the Melbourne Storm’s elimination final against the Parramatta Eels.

Whilst it is unknown where Chambers will end up, a likely destination that has been spoken about is Rugby Union, specifically, Japanese Rugby.

The Queensland representative has had a stint in Rugby Union in the past, playing for the Queensland Reds and Munster.

The Australian representative will undoubtedly go down as a Melbourne Storm legend after playing 340 games for the Victorian club.
