Stevie Ward horror injury update

Stevie Ward has opened up on the horror of his current situation regarding his head knocks.

Ex-Leeds Rhinos captain, Ward, was forced to retire at the start of the 2020 season due to a number of serious concussions and side effects and has since broadcast his journey on a number of outlets, including ITV, in an attempt to highlight the effects of head injuries whilst playing sport.

And, Ward has now updated his Instagram to show how he is coping with life away from rugby and adapting to a new, changed lifestyle.

Ward, in particular, has struggled with the daily life of the concussion symptoms with severe migraines and consistent dizziness things the former Leeds captain has had to endure since stepping away from rugby league.

He could be forced to stop private treatment for his neurological injury, with Leeds fans setting up a go fund me page in order to help Ward carry on his treatment: https://gofund.me/bf230fc6
