Warrington Wolves’ former head coach Steve Price has jetted off to Australia after four years at the club.
Price has taken the role as second-in-command to Craig Fitzgibbon at the Cronulla Sharks, with incoming head coach Daryl Powell joining the Wolves after almost nine years in charge at the Castleford Tigers.
But, a farewell night get together with Warrington players and staff, Price was caught on camera donning a trench coat with shorts – hopefully – on underneath and a pair of trainers.
Daryl Clark posted the photo with the caption: “Good send off for the boss man safe flight ✈️”
Meanwhile, a number of former players couldn’t quite keep their thoughts to themselves, with some labelling Price ‘Columbo’ for his long coat.
Ex-Warrington star Bryson Goodwin commented: “What about the trench” with two laughing face emojis, whilst another fan was more crude, stating: “Whats with the flasher mac?”
Another commented: “Leaving BBQ at 5 , Paris fashion week at 7 for Pricey”.

Price’s reign was up and down at the Halliwell Jones, with a Challenge Cup success coming in 2019, though the Wolves ultimately fell short in Super League during his time at the club.
