Star winger set to snub Super League interest

Star winger Josh Mansour has been one of the best try scorers in the NRL for the last decade starring for both Penrith Panthers and South Sydney Rabbitohs.
However, when he arrived in England for the Rugby League World Cup with Lebanon, he still didn’t have a club in the NRL.
Yes, there were supposed links to Sydney Roosters but as the CBA negotiations raged on down under leaving the future of the salary cap unresolved, no team could make a move for the winger leaving him in limbo.
He did say during his time in England that he was open to a switch to Super League and reportedly still is according to the Daily Telegraph as interest from clubs persist likely to be one of Leigh Leopards, Catalans Dragons or Salford Red Devils given that they are the three remaining teams with quota spots available.
Leigh would be his most likely Super League destination after losing Blake Ferguson.
However, the Daily Telegraph is also reporting that though he still open to joining Super League, he is set to snub Super League interest in favour of continuing his NRL career with his preference to stay in Sydney.
This will be disappointing news for any Super League club hoping to secure his signature.
