Star suffers horror mouth injury

Everybody knows that those who play rugby are a tough breed.

But, sometimes, an injury can occur that makes you step back and think ‘wow, how has that happened?’

Well, when St George Illawarra’s Cody Ramsey took to social media to reveal the state of his mouth injury following the Dragons’ loss to Canberra on Friday, it’s fair to say it horrified a few people – and it is shown down below for those hardy people wanting to take a sneak peek.

Ramsey had two teeth snapped during the opening exchanges of that defeat, with the makeshift centre clashing heads with his own hooker Andrew McCullough.

McCullough had his head cut open – and that was all down to Ramsey’s two front teeth getting snapped on contact with the hooker’s head.

Ramsey, of course, didn’t return after being taken off with a dentist appointment the next step.

He has since had his teeth glued back together, but will need surgery to have them completely replaced.
