Salford’s troubles seem to be continuing on the stadium front.
Having leased the ground from the council alongside 15-a-side club Sale Sharks, it appears as though new twists and turns are happening – and not in a good way.
Last night, the Red Devils held a fans forum to discuss the future of the club at the AJ Bell Stadium, but the club revealed that “it is not financially viable” to buy the ground.
With a reduced revenue source from 2022, it appears as though Salford are looking around.
And, a spectacular move would see the Red Devils ground share with football side Salford City FC at Moor Lane. But, this story is far from over.
Paul is now talking about our revenue sources, outlining that central distributions, linked to the broadcast agreement, are reducing from the 2022 season.
