St Helens vs Swinton Lions: Everything you need to know

St Helens Reserves will face Swinton Lions in a pre-season friendly at the Totally Wicked Stadium today with 3pm kick off.

The trial game forms part of the recent announcement of our dual-registration agreement between the Super League Champions and the Championship club.

Entry will be free for 2023 St Helens members.

There is no designated section for Swinton fans with only the South stand open for this game.

Any non-members (including Swinton fans) can purchase a ticket online with tickets priced at: £5 for adults, £3 concessions (65 and over), £2 for juniors (16 or under).

The club have informally asked Swinton fans to purchase in block B if they wish to sit together, however this is not compulsory.

Pay on the gate is also an option on matchday (card only) whilst a kiosk will also be open for refreshments.

Swinton Lions CEO, Steve Wild said: “On behalf of the Lions I’d like to thank Mike Rush and everyone at Saints for so readily agreeing to a friendly at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

“The game will form an integral part of our preparations for the 2023 season and our aim to establish ourselves in the Championship. At Swinton we are looking forward to developing our DR agreement for the mutual benefit of both clubs, and we wish Saints every success in the coming season.”
