St Helens vs Hull KR: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

Champions St Helens host a Hull KR side who bounced back after weeks of struggle with a thumping win over Salford.

Of course, maintaining their new found momentum will be tough against the Champions, but Tony Smith’s off the cuff side could very well cause the upset.

However, the Champions will be just as determined due to the incentive to maintain their buffer at the top of the table.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 15:00.

Sadly, there is no TV coverage but highlights will be available on Super League’s YouTube channel and BBC’s Super League Show.

Predicted Line-ups

St Helens
The main problem for Kristian Woolf to solve is at centre with Mark Percival still absent and Sione Mata’utia suspended. In terms of filling in this position, he has two options. Jon Bennison can play on the wing with Tommy Makinson able to move to the centres. The more obvious choice would be Ben Davies who is very capable of playing there or could move to the halves allowing Jack Welsby to shift to fullback and Will Hopoate to take over at centre. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook’s absence could open the door for Dan Norman to play. James Roby will break Kevin Sinfield’s Super League appearance record if he plays.

Hull KR
After such a thumping win over Salford, Tony Smith won’t want to change a winning team and won’t have to either with the same 17 again available. Of course, there could be tactical changes like returning Elliot Minchella to the starting 13 should Smith believe these to be beneficial to downing the Champions. Lachlan Coote will play against his former side away for the first time.
