St Helens vs Castleford Tigers: Kick-off time, TV channel and predicted line-ups

The Champions suffered their worst defeat since 2016 last week in a game that also saw them lose Regan Grace meaning he has now played his last game for the Saints.

It’s Castleford who could face the black lash whilst they themselves deal with the blow of a comprehensive derby defeat to Wakefield last week.

Both sides immediately need to get back on the horse with a League Leaders’ Shield up for grabs for Saints and a play-off spot tempting the Tigers.

Kick-off time and TV channel

The game kicks off at 13:00.

TV coverage starts from 12:30 on Channel 4.

Predicted Line-ups

St Helens
The Saints will have to make a change on the wing with Regan Grace ruled out for the season so Tommy Makinson’s return is timely on the wing. Curtis Sironen may not be risked with Sam Royale back from his loan at Hull KR. Dan Norman meanwhile will replace Agnatius Paasi on the bench owing to Paasi’s head knock.

Castleford Tigers
Fortunately for Lee Radford, he has Alex Mellor and Gareth O’Brien back. Mellor will take over at the backrow with Adam Milner dropping to the bench as Cheyse Blair also takes a spot on the bench created by the loss of Daniel Smith and George Lawler as Liam Watts takes over at prop. Jake Mamo misses out through injury so Greg Eden will move to fullback as O’Brien takes over at six. Sosaia Feki is also back in the squad. Could we see him finally make a rare Super League appearance?
