St Helens v Salford: Squads announced

Both St Helens and Salford Red Devils have announced their squads ahead of the Super League Grand Final rematch at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday.

St Helens:

The champions have Kyle Amor back in their squad, as he missed last week’s friendly win over London Broncos with injury. However, they are still without Tommy Makinson, James Roby and Morgan Knowles as they recover from their off-season surgeries. Youngsters Jack Welsby and Lewis Dodd are also named in their extended side.

21-man squad: 1 Lachlan Coote, 3 Kevin Naiqama, 4 Mark Percival, 5 Regan Grace, 6 Jonny Lomax, 7 Theo Fages, 8 Alex Walmsley, 10 Luke Thompson, 11 Zeb Taia, 12 Dom Peyroux, 13 Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, 15 Matty Lees, 16 Kyle Amor, 17 Jack Ashworth, 18 Joseph Paulo, 19 Aaron Smith, 20 James Bentley, 21 Matty Costello, 22 Jack Welsby, 23 Joe Batchelor, 27 Lewis Dodd.

Salford Red Devils:

Salford could hand debuts to Dan Sarginson, Kevin Brown, Sebastine Ikahihifo, Luke Yates, Rhys Williams and James Greenwood. If Williams does play, then it will be his 250th career appearance since making his debut in 2008. Red Devils winger Krisnan Inu also needs 11 points to reach 1,000 for his career. Ed Chamberlain and Ryan Lannon don’t make the 21.
