St Helens star set to miss World Club Challenge as squads announced

The team news for the World Club Challenge is in.

Both coaches have named their squads for the game come Saturday.

Ivan Cleary has drafted in his biggest names with Jarome Luai and Nathan Cleary set to start in the halves whilst Isaah Yeo is back to play at 13.

Meanwhile, former Huddersfield Giants star Jack Cogger has been given the number 14 shirt and is seemingly set for a spot on the bench.

In an interesting move World Cup star who broke English hearts Stephen Crichton is set to start at fullback.

Normally a centre, one of the reasons he will leave Penrith at the end of the year for Canterbury Bulldogs is a desire to play at the back.

Here is the Penrith squad:

Panthers team: 1. Stephen Crichton 2. Taylan May 3. Izack Tago 4. Sunia Turuva 5. Brian To’o 6. Jarome Luai 7. Nathan Cleary 8. Moses Leota 9. Mitch Kenny 10. James Fisher-Harris 11. Luke Garner 12. As for St Helens the big news is that, according to NRL.com, Joe Batchelor will miss the game after he was seen in a surgical boot after the win against St George Illawarra Dragons.

Morgan Knowles is fit enough to be named in the squad but it remains to be seen whether or not he will feature in the game itself.
