St Helens have revealed their squad numbers for 2023 with most of the jersey numbers remaining the same.
The club has also confirmed that they are still in the market for a signing, likely a back after the loss of Regan Grace.
As revealed yesterday, Jon Bennison will take over Grace’s number 5 jersey, worn by a host of Saints greats throughout our history.
All other squad numbers 1-17 are unchanged from the 2022 season, from 18 onwards, there are a number of changes with Jake Wingfield (18) James Bell (19) Dan Norman (20) Ben Davies (21) and Sam Royle (22) all moving up in number from the 2022 season.
These changes come after the departure of Kyle Amor to Warrington Wolves on loan prior to a permanent switch to Widnes Vikings.
James Roby will again wear his famous number 9 shirt for his 20th and final season in the RedV as he hopes to eclipse the all-time Club appearance record.
Konrad Hurrell retains the number 23, previously worn by other overseas stars in the recent era.
Saints Academy graduates George Delaney (30), Daniel Moss (31) Ben Lane (32) and McKenzie Buckley (33) are all given squad numbers following their debuts in 2022.
The number 25 has yet to be allocated, and with the Club’s quota spots full for 2023, there is availability to fill this space from within the domestic club market.
