St Helens release two fantastic kits for 2023 Super League season

St Helens have released a lovely pair of shirts for the 2023 season.

The Saints are chasing a fifth consecutive title in 2022 under new coach and Saints legend Paul Wellens and his new look coaching team which included France coach Laurent Frayssinous.

Saints’ preparations for next season are almost done though they’re still chasing one last domestic signing for their 25 shirt in 2023. Now they’ve taken another step closer to being set for the title defence and even a World Club Challenge clash against Penrith Panthers as well as a Australian pre-season tournament with the Saints set for a battle of the Saints against St George Illawarra Dragons according to reports.

The step they’ve taken today? They now have a new, though traditional, look for their campaign celebrating their 150th year.

In partnership with O’Neill’s Sportswear, the long-standing and world-recognised Saints tradition of a white shirt with a RedV is delivered in pure and simple form for this momentous season.

The traditional, clean look features a classic plain RedV up to the shoulder seams with simple red flashes on the collar and sleeves.

The shorts revert to a predominately white style with red panelling along the sides. The socks are also white with red piping.

Both the shirt and shorts feature the Club’s brand new 150 Year Crest, with its gold edging.

The shirt also features a number of special touches including ‘1873 – 2023’ printed inside the collar.

They have also released an away kit which uses a very traditional away kit from the club’s past with a light blue base and a dark blue vee as the history making Saints look back on their history as they hope to make more of it in 2023.
